 Hote Praia Mar is located in Carcavelos, facing the beach, and at the entrance of the Estoril Coast, with the city of Sintra, Oeiras and Queluz nearby.
It is located only a few minutes of the Lisbon-Cascais highway (A5) and at 15 minutes by foot, of the Carcavelos train station, that has a connection to the Cais do Sodré Station, the latter with direct access to the subway of Lisbon.
The Estoril Coast is endowed by an efficient public transportation network.
Bus: Touristic Routes, Connection between all urban cards of the region and also from and to, the airport, by Bus.
Car: Touristic and romantic routes in the urban zone of Cascais. For more information contact the hotel or the tourist office of the region.
Train: Regular connection by Lisbon line (Cais do Sodré) - Cascais. The trip is about 30 minutes to Lisbon.

From Lisbon to Carcavelos
Option 1 – EN6: Marginal: Head to Alcantra trough Av. 24 de Julho, keeping your direction to Cascais, after Alcantra, trough Av. da India heading to Belem and Algés. In Algés take the EN6 heading to Cascais, passing Dafundo, Cruz Quebrada, Caxias, Paço d'Arcos, Oeiras until you enter Carcavelos, when you reach the 1st roundabout turn on the 2nd exit heading to Cascais, then you reach the 2nd roundabout turn on the 2nd exit also heading to Cascais then turn on the 1st to street on your right - Rua de Gaza, facing the Hotel.
Option 2 – A5: In the Marquês de Pombal roundabout, turn to Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar heading to Amoreiras,
going straight ahead to A5 heading to Cascais.
Exit in - Carcavelos/Tires/Abóboda and enter in São Domingos de Rana, passing the church that's on your left, heading to Carcavelos.
You'll reach a junction, there take the one to the left heading to Oeiras/Marginal keep going till you find a roundabout, take the second exit on the right that says Marginal/Carcavelos, finding the second roundabout take the second exit on the right also, heading to Marginal, then on the third roundabout take the second exit also, arriving to the Av. Marginal or EN6, you'll find another roundabout in wich you have to exit on the first to your right heading to Cascais until you find another roundabout exit on the second one also, then turn in the first street to your right - Rua de Gaza (Gaza Street) where you'll see the Hotel just ahead
